What is Seed list?
A set of test mailboxes at different providers used to see where a message lands.
How it works in practice
You send your real message to the seed addresses and then check each mailbox for the inbox, a tab or spam. A seed test is a snapshot of one message at one moment from one sender, not a guarantee for your whole list.
The common mistake
Treating a seed test as the final word instead of one signal alongside real engagement.
