What is Feedback loop (FBL)?
A service where a mailbox provider reports back when a recipient marks your message as spam.
How it works in practice
Yahoo's feedback loop is based on DKIM domains, Microsoft's on IPs through SNDS and JMRP, and Gmail doesn't send per-message complaints but exposes aggregate data in Postmaster Tools. Using them lets you remove complainers immediately.
The common mistake
Registering for a feedback loop and then not suppressing the addresses it reports.
