Delivery
What is Catch-all domain?
A domain whose mail server accepts mail for any address, whether or not the mailbox exists.
How it works in practice
It makes address verification unreliable, since the server answers yes to everything. Mail to non-existent mailboxes is accepted and then dropped or bounced later, so catch-alls hide invalid addresses until they hurt.
The common mistake
Counting an address on a catch-all as verified.
